Taxus baccata (UK Grown) Yew, Pack of 10 Cell Grown Plants

Taxus baccata is the English yew. This evergreen, native conifer makes an excellent hedging and topiary plant. A very long lived tree. Will grow in most soils including chalk provided they are well drained. Needle-like dark green leaves. Tolerant of shade. Female trees bear a berry-like fruit (aril) enclosing a single seed. The fruit is eaten by many birds. Yew is toxic to horses and stock animals, also to humans.
